Miracles Still Happen!

We arrived at So.' house tonight for Bible study. So. was very upset because little F, the newborn of Sh. had stopped breathing twice -- actually was dead and came back twice, and was experiencing convulsions.

There were serious concerns that the baby had some kind of neurological damage. So. was very concerned, so the four of us, Joan, So., Donya, and myself (Phil) prayed for God to heal this child F. and bring comfort to the mother Sh. Of note here is that So, still a M., prayed in a conversational manner and IN THE NAME OF JESUS! So. still wanted to study the Word of God even though she was upset, and we did so. At the end of the study, So. got a phone call. It was Sh. (also a M.) who called to say that the test had come back that there was nothing wrong with the baby -- that God had given her Psalm 126 to comfort her in the hospital (no doubt from a Bible the Gideons put there) -- and that the medicine to help the baby's neck muscles, caused the spasms -- a very rare occurance -- but this was not known at the time because nobody had the papers that come with the medicine to see that that was a possible side effect!

We believe - -and the whole family believes that God answered our prayers. Joan had been praying that they will all see His power manifested!

So. did not want to cancel the study because she wanted us to come and pray. She prayed in the name of Jesus.

Her sister Sh. opened a Bible and was comforted by the Word of God!

Last week we prayed for So. and her health.

This week God answered her prayers about that too.

When we left, everyone, including us, were dancing with joy.

God answers prayers!

I believe that So. will be a follower of Jesus soon, and perhaps Sh.

Will you pray to that end?
